About this document

This document lists the filesets required to do the minimal install of only the makefile-based compiler from VisualAge C++ Professional for AIX, Version 5.0 (5765-E26). It does not include the incremental compiler, the IDE, IBM Open Class (except where required as a requisite), the IBM Distributed Debugger, Visual Builder, Data Access Builder, or the HTML documentation.

This product now has OS-level dependent filesets. Make sure you install the correct fileset for your level of AIX.

Procedure

Install the following:
