lftwput Errors in errpt

Problem

lftwput errors exist in errpt.

Solution

Most problems are caused by stty or echo statements in .dtprofile, .profile, .kshrc, .login, or .cshrc. Problems have also been found when applications, programs, or scripts are started from the /etc/inittab, .dtprofile, .profile, .kshrc, .login, or .cshrc. The .login and .cshrc were not in the source. These two files are only used when you are running a C shell versus a Korn shell.

The following is an example of how you might see your $HOME directory:

	Korn Shell C Shell
	---------- -----------
	.dtprofile .dtprofile
	.profile .login
	.kshrc .cshrc
